Maruti Suzuki’s employee volunteering initiative ‘eParivartan’ touches over 8,700 lives
Chennai: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) today shared that its employees volunteered over 2,600 hours under the company’s flagship initiative, ‘eParivartan,’ in FY 2025–26, positively impacting the lives of more than 8,700 individuals.
Over 1,100 company employees volunteered time and skills across 30+ community activities, ranging from health and community care to education and youth engagement.
Health & Community Care
During FY 2025–26, Maruti Suzuki employees actively participated in four blood donation drives organised across the Company’s offices and manufacturing locations. Volunteers applied their skills to assemble wheelchairs from kits provided by the company. The assembled units were donated to shelter homes and care centers.
Company volunteers further contributed by providing food, medicines, dry ration and toiletries, helping address the everyday needs of residents at shelter homes. Additionally, employees engaged with the elderly and underprivileged through structured companionship programmes, fostering care, dignity and meaningful human connection.
Education & Youth Engagement
The volunteers also initiated education and engagement with young learners from underprivileged background*. A key initiative was arranging a visit to the Manesar manufacturing facility. Witnessing large-scale manufacturing and interacting with company employees helped to spark curiosities, widen perspectives and encourage the children to think more freely about learning and future possibilities.
During the year, volunteers connected with specially-abled children through inclusive interactions and art sessions, fostering creativity and engagement. They also spent time with students with visual impairments, supporting their learning needs through meaningful interactions and the distribution of Braille kits.
In addition, the ‘Wish Tree’ activity enabled employees to fulfil the wishes of over 300 underprivileged students, providing school bags, stationery, learning material and toys – creating moments of joy while encouraging continued learning.

The initiatives were complemented by several other engaging activities, including school beautification drives, where employee volunteers painted over 1,400 sq. ft. of wall space in government schools in Manesar and Gurugram, helping to create more vibrant and welcoming learning environments.
